Building Communtiy...

WHY GROUPS?

Groups are a place where people can connect with others, discover the next step God has for your life and grow in your relationship with God.  Groups are the way that Sequoyah will continue to grow.

“They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord's Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity – all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their group those who were being saved.”  – Acts 2:46-47

WHAT ARE GROUPS?

Groups are simply just that, Groups.  They are made up of approximately 10-20 people who meet on a weekly basis in a given trimester.  Groups are designed to develop meaningful relationships, grow spiritually (through study and service) and have fun together.  Every group will be based on an approved curriculum by the Groups Pastor.

WHAT ARE GROUPS STUDYING?

This semester of Groups at Sequoyah will be focusing on,  “Better Together” by Rick Warren, author of Purpose Driven Life.  Each week we will be be discussing: why we need each other, evangelism, fellowship, discipleship, ministry and worship.   Material will be on sale beginning January 31st for only $11.
